Being an avid reader of books in the areas of leadership, business, marketing, productivity and personal development, there are many books I could recommend that are worth reading.
However, I tend to learn more from biographies as they are more personal and more relatable.
Another favourite book of mine is The Slight Edge by Jeff Olson, which covers in great depth how to use the knowledge you already have in order to make profound changes in your life.
It isn’t necessarily about continuously acquiring new information but recognising that the choices we are making every day are affecting us in either a positive or negative way.

One book I keep referring back to over and over again is The Compound Effect by Darren Hardy.
It has been out for a few years now and was on the New York Times best-seller list when it was first released.
I found the lessons shared in the book to be very valuable so I’d like to share my quick review of the book.
